KMS is proud to be part of Pledge 1%

Pledge 1% is a corporate philanthropy movement dedicated to making the community a key stakeholder in every business. As part of the program, KMS Technology joins an impressive network of entrepreneurs and companies across the globe that have committed to incorporating philanthropic efforts into their business. These organizations pledge to give 1% of product, 1% of equity, 1% of profit, and 1% of employee time to improve communities around the world.

48in48 brings together IT & marketing pros to build websites for 48 nonprofits in 48 hours. Since 2015, 48in48 has generated more than $23 Million in value by creating websites, logos, and offering marketing support for nonprofits, amplifying their impact.

KMS has sponsored the Atlanta events since 2018 and volunteered a dedicated testing team for each event.

Since 2012, Community Bucket has been dedicated to improving Atlanta – encouraging more volunteering, creating more interesting ways to meet people, and tapping into the power of crowds to create positive change.

KMS participates in the Community Bucket Program, “Tech Gives Back”. As part of this program, KMS employees have the opportunity to meet other volunteers who are passionate about technology and love making a positive impact in the community.

Per Scholas was founded more than 20 years ago with a mission to open doors to transformative technology careers for individuals from often-overlooked communities.

KMS led the opening of Per Scholas Atlanta. In the first 1.5 years, the program had over 150 graduates and boasts an 85% graduation rate and 85% placement rate.

Passerelles numériques (PN) is a non-profit organization created in 2005, operating in Cambodia, the Philippines and Vietnam. PN’s mission is to provide education, technical and professional training in the digital sector to young underprivileged people by leveraging their potential and willpower. PN endeavors to truly develop their employability which will allow them and their families to escape poverty in a sustainable way, and contribute to the social and economic development of their countries.

In 2018, KMS announced its partnership with PN Vietnam, as part of its commitment to support the community. KMS helps PNV by equipping the laboratory, providing specialized workshops and training courses conducted by its experts, and several internship opportunities for PNV students. With the most up-to-date knowledge and hands-on experience in the IT industry, KMS aims to help PNV students have a fair and better employment opportunity in the future.

DRD, a non-profit organization, was established in 2005 and has been working under the supervision of the Vietnam Union of Scientific and Technological Associations (VUSTA). They have been making efforts to contribute to an equal and non-discriminatory society for persons with disabilities.

KMS supports DRD through a scholarship fund for underprivileged IT students.
