Chairman of the Board & Co-Founder

Vu Lam is the Chairman and Co-Founder of KMS Technology and owns the vision and global delivery operations for KMS. As one of the co-founders of KMS, he believes that there should be a better way to provide software outsourcing for his clients, as well as for the engineers. He was confident in delivering a new solution, so he started the journey of KMS with his partners to prove it.

Vu has significant and diverse industry experience in the U.S. and international markets including Asia and Europe. He is an entrepreneur who has started and grown multiple technology ventures. Further, he is recognized for bringing leadership, strategic focus, and knowledge to complex business and technology initiatives. Those include multiple industries for on-shore, off-shore software development, support, and maintenance operations.

Vu co-founded Paragon Solutions, Inc., a US-based technology consulting company. The global firm established international development centers in Bangalore, India and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. His guidance of Paragon Solutions Vietnam (PSV) led to his recognition as a pioneer of the Vietnam IT industry. In 2003, First Consulting Group (FCG), a NASDAQ traded company, acquired Paragon. Vu then led FCG’s Global Shared-Services group through tremendous growth from 400 to 1,300+ resources.

Vu received a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University and a Bachelors of Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In addition to his professional responsibilities, he is currently a Board member of several IT startup companies. Vu lives in Dublin, CA, US with his wife and son.
